NATURAL TRUST

The Earth has created a unique climatic zone with exceptional conditions for the growth of specialty coffee - The Coffee Belt of the Earth. These zones provide a natural microclimate and fertile soils perfect for coffee cultivation. While humans can achieve much, what the Earth creates is truly unique and irreplaceable.

FROM THE EARTH

The coffee tree is a unique natural creation. Specialty coffee refers exclusively to high-quality Arabica. This coffee grows in high-altitude regions, where the mineral-rich soil enhances its benefits and provides unique flavors. With lower caffeine content, this coffee tree focuses on enriching its coffee cherry with more minerals and trace elements for extra quality harvest, as caffeine is less needed as a defense mechanism against pests at higher altitudes.

SOURCING

Only 15-16% of the world’s annual coffee harvest qualifies as “specialty” grade coffee. To earn this title, the coffee must be of the highest quality, handpicked to select only ripe coffee cherries, delicately processed, and free from broken or defective beans. Due to its limited yield and high-altitude growth, specialty coffee is expensive to harvest and transport.

CLIMATE CHANGE

Delicate Arabica trees thrive in moderate high-altitude climates. With global warming, farmers are forced to move their coffee plantations up the mountains to provide an essential environment for coffee trees. Unfortunately, this makes cultivation more costly and the product even more limited and exclusive.

DIRECT TRADE

Direct trade allows farmers growing the best coffee crops to sell directly without middlemen, ensuring a fairer price. This trade model supports unique small farming communities producing unique specialty coffee.

All these aspects make sense and contribute to specialty coffee's high quality, benefits, exceptional taste, and flowers, making it a valuable and unique product.
